Tell us about yourself?

I’m Nathan Melvin and I’m 28 years old. I am born and raised in Antrim and I’m still currently living there with my wife Victoria. We recently celebrated our wedding day in July of this year and we live with our much loved Dachshund – Ferb. A lot of my time is spent playing for local Antrim football team, Antrim Eagles, in the Ballymena Saturday Morning League. Huge Manchester United fan but of recent times has not been great unfortunately.

Outside of football, I also like to spend my time playing video games which helps to wind down or taking the dog out for a walk in the evenings.

Favourite holiday destination?
My dream holiday destination would be a trip around different parts of North America and getting the chance to attend an American football game. My favourite holiday experience was our honeymoon travelling to Singapore for a few days then Bali everything about it was amazing and my first time outside of Europe was a fantastic experience.

Favourite Movie and TV show?

Favourite TV show would be Suits with Two and a half Men being a close 2^nd. Favourite film would be The Pursuit of Happiness as I do like a wee heartfelt movie now and again.

Favourite food & drink?

Sweet Chilli Chicken Penne Pasta or going out for an Indian dinner. My favourite beverage I’d have to go with a bottle of Corona with a lime wedge. Top notch.

Have you ever met anyone famous?

Iwan Rheon best known for his role of (Ramsey Bolton) in Game Of Thrones.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Superhuman Intelligence.

If you could meet any living person for dinner, who would you pick and why?

I would have to agree with Niall and say Denzel Washington who is also my favourite actor and always loved his speeches during graduations or movie awards. Very inspiring or Chris Brown my favourite musical artist.

How long have you been at Cubo and what is your role?

I have worked at Cubo for one year and six months and in my role as a Telematics Support Advisor, I am one of the go-to people for our telematics customers. I’m involved in all parts of the customer journey, from onboarding where I create the jobs for our engineers, to post installation where I help train our customers, troubleshoot problems, and answer questions (over email, phone and live chat) so they can get the most out of Cubo’s solutions.

Favourite thing about working at Cubo?

Things I enjoy the most is working along side a great team who strive to achieve great things everyday and will always provide the best banter. It’s very refreshing to be part of Cubo at this very exciting growth period for the company.

What’s your favourite piece of work advice you’ve ever received?

Pretty simple. Don’t panic as things will come in time and with patience. You will never learn everything in 1 day so take each step at a time and always keep an open mind.
